The Inter forward showed great determination against the Como backline to prod the ball past Astrid Gilardi. Milan's home clash with Sampdoria remained goalless until Evelyn Ijeh found the breakthrough in the 71st minute. The 23-year-old collected Silvia Rubio's neat pass, before she drilled a clinical left-foot shot out of Amanda Tampieri's reach. Ijeh's second league goal of the season proved enough to secure a third consecutive victory. The win moved Milan above Roma and into fourth position. As for Sampdoria, they are languishing down in ninth position.
Juventus maintained their 100% start to the season with an impressive victory in Sunday's clash at the Allianz Stadium. In the 13th minute, Barbara Bonansea collected Estelle Cascarino's diagonal ball, before firing a low shot past Camelia Ceasar. Lazio had to settle for a point despite dominating Sunday's home meeting with Napoli. The hosts enjoyed 67% possession and racked up 20 hosts, including five efforts on target. However, they were unable to break through Napoli's stubborn resistance.
