Mega Powerstar Ram Charan, who is awaiting the release of his forthcoming political thriller Game Changer, will soon join the sets of his new film which is tentatively titled 'RC 16' under the direction of Tollywood filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana. The film's regular shooting commenced today morning in Mysore.
After offering prayers at the famous Chamundeswari temple in Mysore, Buchi Babu commenced the first schedule of this untitled film which is billed as a rural drama with a sports backdrop. Sources revealed that Charan will be sporting a rustic and authentic look in this film which revolves around the nativity of Uttarandhra. He will be portraying the role of a handicap player.
Buchi Babu took to social media to share the picture of him standing in front of the Chamundeshwari temple located on a hill in Mysore. He holds the script's papers in his hands. "It's a BIG DAY....The most awaited moment...started with the blessings of Chamundeshwari Matha, Mysore...Blessings needed...#RC16," he captioned the image.
Janhvi Kapoor is the female lead and this is her second Telugu outing after Devara. Ram Charan will join the sets from 25th November.Kannada veteran star Shiva Rajkumar plays a crucial role. AR Rahman is the music director, and Rathnavel handles the camera.
