'That's a disaster'... Former UFC heavyweight is terrified of one particular outcome in Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight

With Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson right around the corner, an ex-UFC star has expressed his biggest worries ahead of a bout that has captured the imagination of the public.

The two combat sports superstars are set to go head-to-head in front of 80,000 fans next Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Since retiring from MMA, Brendan Schaub has become a popular analyst, regularly keeping his fans entertained with his views on the combat sports world.

Therefore, with Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson, set to go down next weekend, the former fighter has given his thoughts. And they're not overly positive.

In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, the former UFC star said: "I love Mike Tyson, I love Jake Paul -- I hope it f***ing crushes. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out the upside to this.

"Let's go through the scenario here. If you're Jake, so you could knock him out -- horrible -- you just beat up an old man. You get knocked out, [people say], 'Told you, this guy is a joke, you got beat up by a 58-year-old'."

However, while these first two situations wouldn't be ideal, there's one more that Schaub believes would be nothing short of horrendous.

The 41-year-old asserted: "The third scenario here is it goes to decision, that's a disaster, and nobody is coming back. That's a disaster business-wise for Netflix. It's a disaster for Jake Paul, went to a decision with a 58-year-old Mike Tyson.

"The only person who wins is not Netflix and not Jake Paul; Mike Tyson wins. He can do no wrong. If he gets knocked out, he's 58, he's still getting paid.

"He beats Jake Paul, f**k yeah, all the old guys are like, 'Yeah Daddy'. It goes to a decision, Mike Tyson wins.

"For Netflix, I dont' know. let's say Mike Tyson wins; what are you going to do? What's next? Mike Tyson and Logan Paul to avenge his brother or KSI? That's the business model? Ok."

While his fight with Paul is set to be one of the biggest of the year, Tyson's true glory days have been and gone, with fans all over the world still capable of reminiscing fondly on the amazing things he did in his prime.

With a peek-a-boo style, the New Yorker would bob and weave in front of his opponents, before unleashing lightning combinations that sent them crashing towards the canvas.

Throughout his career, he had many big fights, with Dana White using one in particular to determine how the UFC was 'built'.
