The high school fall sports season is nearing its final stretch and Eugene-area teams and individuals produced a few great performances in the postseason.

The senior rushed for over 140 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Sheldon Irish past Sprague, 45-17, Nov. 15 in the Class 6A state quarterfinals. On defense, Tuioti accounted for a sack.
The sophomore rushed for two touchdowns to help the Spartans to a 45-0 victory over Stayton Nov. 15 in the Class 4A quarterfinals.
The senior threw three touchdown passes and had another on the ground Nov. 15 to lead the Spartans to a 45-0 victory over Stayton in the Class 4A state quarterfinals.
The junior caught an interception on Sheldon's 16-yard lne with seconds left in the first quarter. The defense only gave up two touchdowns in the final minutes of the game to secure Sheldon a 45-17 win over Sprague.
The junior won his first individual cross-country state title in 15 minutes, 4.3 seconds over 5,000 meters on Nov. 9 at the Class 6A state championships at Lane Community College.
The senior won his second individual cross-country state title in 15:41.2 on Nov. 9 at the Class 4A state championships at Lane Community College.
