Greetings from "Can't Wait For Saturday," your morning morsel of college football, courtesy of longtime Illini beat writer, AP Top 25 voter and Heisman state rep Bob Asmussen. He'll give you his views each day on the game he loves.

4. Penn State 4
5. Indiana 5
6. Notre Dame 8
7. Boise State 9
8. Alabama 10
9. Mississippi 12
10. Georgia 13
11. SMU 11
12. Miami 15
13. Army 14
14. BYU 7
15. Tennessee 6
16. Colorado 18
17. Texas A&M 16
18. Clemson 20
19. South Carolina 23
20. Tulane 25
21. Arizona State --
22. Iowa State --
23. Illinois --
24. Memphis --
25. UNLV --
-- Welcome back to Illinois, which returns to my ballot after two weeks out. If Illinois is ranked, which I believe will be the case, that will make eight weeks this season.
-- Illinois is part of my entirely new bottom five, with upset losses also creating openings for Arizona State, Iowa State, Memphis and UNLV.
-- On the flip side, my top five from a week ago remains the same. The highest-ranked team to drop was No. 6 Tennessee, which lost to Georgia.
