The Opportunity - Medical Doctor (National-Consultancy).
Post location: Gaza Field Office - SCI PHCC - Subject to change depending on SC priorities
The Medical Doctor is responsible for the provision of lifesaving care for all patient in the Save the Children Primary Health Care center (PHCC), through consultations, referral, follow-up as per Ministry of Health (MoH), WHO and Save the Children Protocols. WHO. He/she will support with the oversight and management of primary healthcare center. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, promoting preventive health measures, and supporting patients in managing chronic illnesses in addition to managing emergency cases.
Role Dimensions: oPt CO is a high complexity country, multi-member interest, with an annual budget of around $40+m, and 100+ staff. Currently the program is experiencing a growth in funding and complexity due to the war in Gaza.
The duties and responsibilities as set out above are not exhaustive and the role holder may be required to carry out additional duties within reasonableness of their level of skills and experience.
