PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Tuesday is the deadline to apply for a mail ballot in Rhode Island, so how do you apply for one?
According to the Board of Elections, you can request a mail ballot if you have a disability preventing you from physically going to the polls or are temporarily living out of state.
You can also request one if you just want to vote by mail.
Applications can be submitted online or in-person to your board of canvassers office by 4 p.m.
In Massachusetts, all registered voters received an application for a mail ballot in the mail. The Bay State's deadline to apply for a mail ballot is Oct. 29.
