AUGUSTA -- The Maine Hospice Council and Center for End-of Life Care proudly announces, and invites you to attend, its 2024 Holiday Auction Fundraiser on Thursday, Dec. 5 at the Senator Inn and Spa, 284 Western Avenue.
"Join us for Hors D'oeuvres and some friendly competition, while enjoying the hilarious antics of our beloved auctioneer, Maine humorist Gary Crocker," said Maine Hospice Council and Center for End-of-Life Care Executive Director Kandyce Powell. "This year's auction truly has something for everyone."
Auction items include a day spa package, an overnight Freeport shopping spree, several themed gift baskets (i.e. a Harry Potter basket, handcrafted Holiday gift baskets, a doggy gift basket), watercolor paintings, and a Maine Cabin Masters gift crate. Plus the auction includes trips to Greece, Scotland, and Africa.
This fundraiser is a unique opportunity to support the ongoing advocacy and program development of the Maine Hospice Council and Center for End-of-Life Care. Monies raised will help ensure the sustainability of this valuable organization as they work to address access to quality end-of-life and palliative care throughout the State of Maine.
