Jon Jones could be carrying a worrying injury ahead of his first heavyweight title defense against Stipe Miocic.
The pair of MMA legends are set to go head-to-head at UFC 309 on November 16, in Madison Square Garden, New York, USA.
Jon Jones is just over a week away from putting his heavyweight title on the line against Stipe Miocic, in a clash where he'll need to be at his best to win.
While past the peak of his powers, the Croatian-American possesses ferocious power, meaning 'Bones' simply can't afford to underestimate him.
Realizing this, it appears the New Yorker is going above and beyond in camp, recently posting sharp training footage, to his Instagram, which has prompted a positive response from his fans.
One said: "I just can't see how Stipe wins", while another added: "Jon Jones is looking fierce, with less than two weeks to go until UFC 309, and he's clearly ready to put on a show!"

However, eagle-eyed viewers noticed something that could compromise the legend in his upcoming fight.
There appears to be a bandage on one or more toes on his left foot, which has given MMA enthusiasts the belief that Jones could be debilitated, opening the door for Miocic to upset the applecart.
Noticing the potential injury, one fan commented: "Is his toe a balloon?" Thinking of tactics, a supporter of the former heavyweight King suggested: "Stamp on that toe, Stipe."
While another remembered that this isn't the first time Jones has suffered an injury to his toe, writing: "Is he still recovering from the Chael Sonnen fight?"
While an injury to Jones would undeniably benefit his opponent, that's apparently not the only advantage he has in his locker.
With the emergence of Tom Aspinall, many have forgotten about the skill set Miocic is bringing to the table.
Granted, he hasn't fought since his devastating defeat to Francis Ngannou. But as the old adage goes, 'Styles make fights'.
With that in mind, a UFC legend has pointed out an area where the former champion has the edge on his rival.
