'They'll never be forgotten': St. Lucie County sheriff-elect will reach out to fallen deputy families

St. Lucie County Sheriff-elect Richard Del Toro has outlined his goals as he prepares to assume office in January. Del Toro, who secured victory against Steven Giordano, shared his plans during a visit to the Port St. Lucie Police Department, where he has dedicated 26 years of service."He (Giordano) and I had a really nice conversation," Del Toro said. "I congratulated him; he congratulated me. I look forward to sitting down with him to discuss his ideas. A transition phase is expected over the coming months," Del Toro said.
