Beautiful sunny skies highlighted our Saturday afternoon and temperatures were perfect! It finally felt like a fall weekend here in north Mississippi. As we head into the evening, expect more of those cool, crisp conditions. We will see temperatures fall into the mid 40s for our Sunday morning.
The latter part of the weekend will actually see a warming trend in those temperatures. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the low 70s. Expect to see a good bit of sunshine again, but there will be a little bit more cloud cover compared to today. Still, as high pressure sticks around, the rain will be nonexistent.
The warming trend will continue into the work week with Monday starting in the mid 50s and getting into the mid 70s by the afternoon. Those temperatures will continue to climb into Tuesday reaching into the mid 70s yet again. But beyond that, our temperatures cool off big time. We're going to be talking about temperatures in the mid 30s by the end of the week.
A cold front moving through Monday evening/Tuesday morning will move the high pressure out of our area. This front will bring some decent rain chances in the form of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
