People are being urged to invest in their mental and physical wellbeing for Self Care Week.
Running until Sunday (November 24), the event aims to boost awareness of actions that improve health.
The theme, 'Mind and Body', encourages people to consider lifestyle changes for better self-care.
This includes taking vitamin D supplements, particularly for those unable to go outside, and maintaining good nutrition and regular exercise.
Dr Will Taylor, chief medical officer for NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire, said: "It's more important than ever to look after and protect yourself as well as your family and those you care for this winter.
"Keeping up-to-date with all your immunisations is another important step in self-care and I would urge everyone who is eligible to have a flu vaccine and Covid booster this year."
The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Systems has said that practising self-care is a daily responsibility for everyone, helping to support not just individual and family health, but also the NHS.
