Seven people were arrested this week following a four-month investigation into illegal drug activity in Rowan County, according to the sheriff's office.
On Monday, deputies pulled over a vehicle that had come from 2129 Bringle Ferry Road in Rowan County, an address they were investigating for illegal drug activity. During the traffic stop, deputies said they seized crack cocaine.
A search warrant was obtained for the Bringle Ferry Road home. In the search, deputies seized 11.38 grams of crack cocaine, 9,820 grams of fentanyl, 3,460 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and two Xanax bars.
During the months-long investigation, deputies also said they seized 32 grams of crack cocaine and 257 grams of marijuana.
Below are the seven individuals arrested following the search and their charges:
Chad Vincent Lacey- Possession of Cocaine and Maintain a Dwelling for the Sale of Illegal Narcotics. $100.000 secured bond.
Julia Ann Cowan-Sanders- Possession of Cocaine. $10,000.00 secured bond.
Marcia Lewis- Possession With Intent to Sell Deliver Cocaine. Trafficking in Fentanyl. No Bond Pre-Trial Integrity.
Mark Edward Lewis- Possession of Cocaine. $10,000.00 secured bond
Brandon James Still- Possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms, Possession of Xanax, and Resisting a Public Officer. $10,000.00 secured bond.
Alberto Comtrerias- Possession of Cocaine. $10,000.00 secured bond.
Suzy Ellen Moody- Possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms. Possession of Xanax and was served with several outstanding warrants from Cabarrus County. $30,000.00 secured bond.
