* In October, the ETC provided data connectivity services to 1,514 humanitarians and security communications services to 2,360 responders across 19 sites in Yemen.

* On 21 October the ETC provided the United Nations Department for Safety and Security (UNDSS) with four VHF batteries in Mukalla and Marib, respectively as part of the emergency response for enhancing security communications system (SCS).
Activities Coordination
The WFP-led ETC continues its long-term collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) in providing IT services including connectivity to 29 Emergency Operations Centres (EOCs) across Yemen and supporting humanitarian operations in response to the ongoing cholera outbreak through shared access to internet and IT facilities.
The ETC in Sana'a is creating an interactive graphical user interface (GUI) that provides users with essential information about various facilities within the United Nations Common Area Facilities (UNCAF) in Sana'a. The GUI will also facilitate easy navigation and access to information regarding services and amenities available to UN and INGO personnel operating in Yemen.
Following the official launch of Starlink services in South of Yemen by the Public Telecom Corporation (PTC), the ETC team is engaging with partners and collaborating in quantifying their requirement. The ETC, on behalf of Humanitarian responders, will negotiate special corporate packages that will hopefully be available for use by November.
Internet connectivity
In October, the ETC provided data connectivity to 1,514 humanitarians in 19 sites across nine common operational areas in Yemen.
The ETC is conducting a comprehensive technical assessment of the ETC 19 sites across the country. The technical assessment includes the maintenance of all IT infrastructure, review of services being provided.
