For six seasons in the mid-2010s, Kellen Moore was seen as a quality backup quarterback for both the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys.
After his playing career ended, Moore rose the ranks quickly in Dallas from being a quarterback coach to offensive coordinator and play-caller in the span of three seasons.
While Moore's time with the Cowboys is well over, the new Eagles offensive play-caller is about to make his return to the place that treated him well for years.
And Moore is hoping to show what the team is missing with his new offense filled with top talent.
"A lot of coaches, players, they all have overlap," Moore said. "We've all worked together in some capacity, so no different than a lot of guys that go to different places. Obviously, there's familiarity. There's some of that, but at the end of the day, once you get in the game, you play the game, and some of that stuff kind of takes care of itself.
"Excited about the opportunity. Big division game and all that fun stuff."
Moore helped lead a Cowboys offense that ranked in the top-five in three of six years that he has called offenses including his current year with the Eagles.

While he knows what the Cowboys like to do well offensively, the Dallas defense has a new play-caller themselves in Mike Zimmer so the scheme that was once known for Moore is no longer the case.
Whatever the case, it's business as usual for Moore as he returns to Dallas.
