After two previous postponements, the Critics Choice Awards have a new date.
The show was originally scheduled to take place Jan. 14 in Santa Monica and air live on E!. But due to the wildfires raging across Los Angeles, it was postponed to Jan. 26 until the ceremony was pushed again; it is now scheduled for Feb. 7.

"This unfolding tragedy has already had a profound impact on our community. All our thoughts and prayers are with those battling the devastating fires and with all who have been affected," Critics Choice Association CEO Joey Berlin last week said in a statement.
The event is still set to be held at Barker Hangar, which is located just a few miles from the Pacific Palisades where thousands have been evacuated and many homes destroyed, along with a separate fire that is ravaging the Pasadena-Altadena area. Chelsea Handler is hosting the awards show for the third consecutive year, with Wicked, Conclave and Shogun among the top nominees. With the new date, there will no longer be a "Live from E!: Critics Choice Awards" two-hour red carpet special ahead of the telecast.
Critics Choice joins a number of other Hollywood events that have been affected in recent days, including the Oscars nominations announcement, which has been pushed back twice now, to Jan. 23. Among the canceled events were premieres for Wolf Man and Unstoppable last Tuesday; Better Man, The Pitt and On Call on Wednesday; and The Last Showgirl on Thursday. The annual BAFTA Tea Party scheduled for Saturday in Beverly Hills was also canceled, and the AFI Awards, a starry luncheon honoring the 10 best movies and TV shows of the year, were postponed along with Saturday's AARP's Movies for Grownups Awards.
New York events have also been impacted, as American Primeval held a NYC event on Wednesday without its planned red carpet and hosted a screening and Q&A just for its cast and crew. The New York premiere of Back in Action on Thursday was canceled and a NYC tastemaker screening for Goosebumps: The Vanishing was postponed, among other events.
