Here are the selections for the Ashland Times-Gazette All-Area Boys and Girls Golf team for the 2024 season:
More: New London boys, Ashland girls win conference golf titles
More: Ashland's Elleni Miller's run to state was nothing short of a pleasant surprise
Elleni Miller, Ashland, Junior
In her junior year, Miller became the first Ashland girls golfer to individually qualify for the state tournament since Klaira Paramore in 2021. Miller finished 66th in the final. On the season, she led the Arrows to an Ohio Cardinal Conference Championship, a Division I sectional team title and a fourth-place finish at the district tournament.
Miller was runner-up at the OCC tournament, shooting 69, and her score of 82 at the district tournament in Stone Ridge tied for fifth and earned her a state qualifying spot. She just might be back for more come her senior year.
Kyah Huckleberry, Ashland, Senior
A consistent golfer throughout her career, Huckleberry played a key role in helping the Arrows win the OCC championship, a sectional title and finish fourth at the district tournament. Huckleberry was a third-place finisher at the OCC Tournament, shot an 86 for fourth place at the sectional tournament and was ninth (87) at the district tournament.

Meek, a four-year letterman at Hillsdale, was an individual district qualifier for a second straight year. At the Division II sectional in Orrville, Meek was runner-up after shooting 83. At the district tournament, Meek shot 88, which tied for 14th. Meek finishes out her career currently holding the girls nine-hole record at Hillsdale.
Kendyl Moffit, New London, Senior
Moffit, who often played with the boys throughout the regular season, was a Firelands Conference Honorable Mention selection this year. She just missed being a girls individual district qualifier for a second year in a row, finishing seventh and just missing a playoff to advance.
Reed Emmons, Ashland, Junior
Emmons was Ashland's No. 1 golfer this season, as he helped lead the Arrows to a runner-up finish at the OCC Tournament and fifth-place at the Division I sectional tournament. Individually, Emmons was a OCC First-Team choice and runner-up at the OCC Tournament behind New Philadelphia's Brady Evans. At the sectional tournament in Sycamore Springs, he tied for third while shooting 78, and at the district tournament shot 82 for 16th place.

AJ Brown, Hillsdale, Junior
Hillsdale finished eighth at the Division III sectional tournament as a team, as Brown was named as a Wayne County Athletic Conference Second-Team choice. He tied for 16th at the sectional tournament.

As a team, Mapleton finished eighth at sectionals, with Beattie as the Mounties' No. 1 golfer throughout the season. Beattie was the Firelands Conference tournament runner-up and 22nd at the sectional tournament.
Brody Sword, New London, Junior

He was named Firelands Conference Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, won the Firelands Conference individual title and led the team to a Firelands Conference championship with a 10-1 record in league play. Sword finished ninth (83) at the sectional tournament.
Grady Heileman, New London, Junior
