Little Rock's Trinity Episcopal Cathedral will celebrate a Thanksgiving Day Eucharist with Brass Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

The service will also be livestreamed at youtube.com/c/trinitylittlerock.

In addition to enjoying three trumpets, three trombones, a pipe organ and a timpani, Dean and Rector Amy Dafler Meaux said worshippers will sing "some of the best hymns in the hymnal."

"Now Thank We All our God" and "Come, Ye Thankful People, Come" are among the songs that have been selected, according to Director of Music Colin MacKnight.

Malcolm Boyle's "Thou O God art praised in Sion" and the Gloria from Zoltan Kodaly's Missa Brevis will also be featured.

Kevin Pranoto, associate pastor of social work at Little Rock's Second Baptist Church, will preach.

The altar guild will come up with appropriate harvest-themed decorations, MacKnight said.
